FoW armor should have all stats
A good idea would be that FoW armor has all stats (ie. you can choose to change from gladiator stats (+7 energy) to bezerker (+35hp) or to ascalon (damage reduction) etc.
this would give people more reason to buy FoW armor and so people dont have to buy multiple pieces for helmet when you want +1 axe master or +1 swordsmanship (although you will have to change the rune)
who else thinks this is a good idea

kinda sorta.
i wouldnt disagree with making an "alternatable armor" that could switch to any single one of the other armor classes at will; but it should be more expensive, and available to droks and 15k armors as well (while keeping the skin).
but, if you make it for FoW only, then people will say "but why not 15k or droks?!?" and it should certainly cost more than other sets, otherwise there would be no use in having different armor sets (and thus, different materials) at all.

Armor is armor, if you want several types of FoW armor, you should be able to shell out the cash for it. But if they did make some sort of changeable armor, it would definately need to be available in drok's and regular 15k styles as well. Not to get too far off topic.. but some sort of armor storage would take care of the burden of having an inventory full of armor...

Do you really think people need another reason to buy FoW armor?
Seems like what's already there is enough to make people farm for ridiculous amounts of time and sometimes even exchange their real money for Guild Wars money to be able to buy it.

It would indeed be nice....
But FoW armour isn't suppose to be advantageous. Its suppose look pretty.

Something close to this functionality might (might) be available in Nightfall, but for all armours and for a price.
PCGamer hinted at it, as did the PvE preview weekend. Nothing concrete though.

This would be very nice, IMO. But it would be even better if it was done for PvP armor as well... like you could only change the stats in towns and outposts.

Interesting idea but like stated there would have to be cheap sets for these type of people...

I think this is a good idea. If it's implemented for the 15k armors in factions, it should be the case for what's suppposed to be the ultimate armor too. Of course, personally, it's kinda a moot point, since for every class, there's a 1.5k or 15k armor I think is better appearance-wise. So personally, I would like to see some better skins first, but I can definitely support the merit of having obsidian armor of all the armor types.

I agree. FoW armor is not rewarding enough. Sure it looks awesome but apart from that its nothing special. I think that a set of armor that costs so much should have advantages.

Wont happen like that I'm afraid, making FoW armor better then regular armor will have the "anti-farmers" foaming at the mouth in rage.

Big problem in this game... nobody "Sucks it up" anymore... so, PvE doesn't have giant golden animals? Big deal... So PvP doesn't have awesome armor skins? Big deal... So everyone doesn't farm? Well, what do you DO in this game then!?!?

if they made this changeable armor i dont think it would be necessary to apply this to 1.5k or 15k as well since FoW armor is like 10x as expensive, it seems to justify a bit of superiority in functionality of the armor.

All the reasons have already been posted.
FoW armor is perfect the way it is, no reason to give it tactical advantages.
